Fifty Two takes its name from its location, 50-52 High Street, Bangor. In 2009 the building was extensively renovated by David & Jacqui Heath who had a vision of creating an intimate, family run, boutique bistro – and so it evolved. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxed with two dining levels and a lovely south facing roof terrace.

The mouth-watering essence of 'Fifty Two' food owes itself to a combination of exceptional cooking and the utilisation of only the best local produce. We believe in supporting our local business community therefore ensuring traceability.

The chef team cook to order and skilfully prepare dishes which are full of thought, passion and energy. The food is then presented with flair and delivered to the table with pride by a knowledgeable front of house team.

The Fiftytwo team are passionate about good service with the customer being the focus therefore ensuring the best possible dining experience. Jorris Minnie (Belfast Telegraph) also believes that Fiftytwo further boosts Bangor’s reputation as the ‘Kinsale of the north’.

Fifty two proudly holds the title of ‘best restaurant’ in Bangor 2011. This is the second consecutive year of winning ‘best restaurant’ at the Bangor Chamber of Commerce business awards. A great endorsement for a restaurant which opened its doors so recently! The team are justifiably proud of their achievements and look forward to welcoming you whatever the occasion.
